Hayloft Media is pleased to announce we will be providing a small business website to the winner of the Greater Burlington Partnership’s Des Moines County Business Plan Competition of 2010. We are excited to be apart of this competition and look forward to working with the winner to build & market their business online. I love having the opportunity to help foster the business development in Des Moines County as well as have the chance to help an entrepreneur realize their dreams.
The winner of the competition will be announced in June and in addition to the free website from us, there is a prize pool of $7500 in grant money to be awarded. In order to participate, you must attend the “Writing A Winning
Business Plan” course offered by the Center for Business at Southeastern Community College. Registration for the course ends February 16, 2010. For those who might be interested in participating, there will be an informal informational meeting being held at the Greater Burlington Partnership offices in River Park Place on 4th in downtown Burlington on February 8th at 5:30 PM.
